AM 204 – Asset Management Enablers explores the key organisational components that support successful asset management. You’ll examine how roles are defined, how systems are used (or avoided), and how contracts and processes contribute to long-term outcomes – or get in the way.
The course follows a practical scenario inside a New Zealand council, where a team member is tasked with taking stock of how well asset management is supported across the organisation. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to reflect on your own organisation’s enablers and identify areas for improvement.
AM 204 is completed entirely online, allowing you to learn at your own pace, in your own time. You can begin as soon as you enrol.

- Implement audit and continuous improvement strategies to ensure objectives are being achieved and assets fulfil their required purpose.
The course materials are based on the authoritative guide for Asset Managers in New Zealand, the Āpōpō Guide.
On completion, learners are awarded a digital badge which can be saved and shared.
