Roading Infrastructure Management Support Group (RIMS) provides leadership, strategic advice and promotion of best practice to ensure consistency and efficiency across New Zealand roads.

Since 2005 RIMS has worked closely with all road controlling authorities (RCA's) and is endorsed by key industry stakeholders, including Waka Kotahi and the RCA Forum. We have transformed and re-educated the industry in New Zealand with the introduction of deterioration modelling tools, now widely used and seen as the industry standard.

We actively support the industry by providing best practice guidance covering all areas of road asset and information management. This ‘body of knowledge’ is developed in conjunction with the Road Controlling Authorities Forum, and is widely used within the industry.
