Big news! The Āpōpō Guide is now available! Read more here: The Āpōpō Guide

Tēnā koe,

We are excited to share with you the upcoming launch of the Āpōpō Guide, a groundbreaking resource for infrastructure asset management professionals in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Āpōpō Guide is more than just a guide – it is a comprehensive compilation of best practices, expert insights, and te ao Māori principles, tailored specifically to the unique context of Aotearoa New Zealand. It brings together internationally-sourced practices (such as ISO 55000) with locally-developed guidance (including our Āpōpō digital badges) to provide you with a holistic approach to infrastructure asset management.

Over the next 10 weeks, we will be sending you updates on the development progress of the Āpōpō Guide. These emails will include interviews with contributing authors, a deeper dive into the principles of te ao Māori and their application in asset management, and an exploration of the guide’s alignment with ISO 55000.

One key aspect that sets the Āpōpō Guide apart is its inclusive and collaborative approach. We believe that your expertise and input are invaluable in shaping this guide to meet the needs of our community. If you are interested in reviewing content or have case studies that could be featured in the guide, please reach out to Mike Curry at mike.curry@apopo.co.nz.

We are excited to embark on this journey with you, as we work together to create a world-leading asset management resource that reflects the values, culture, and unique needs of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Stay tuned for our next email, where we will delve deeper into the guiding principles of te ao Māori and how we are weaving together the best knowledge of both Te Tiriti o Waitangi partners within the Āpōpō Guide. Or, check out our website for the latest updates: www.apopo.co.nz/apopo-guide.
