Terms and Conditions – Āpōpō September Membership Prize Draw

1. Eligibility
   a. To be eligible, individuals must join Āpōpō as a new member between 1 September and 30 September 2025 (inclusive).
   b. A new member is defined as an individual who has not held Āpōpō membership during the current or previous membership term.
2. Entry
   a. Eligible individuals will be automatically entered into the prize draw once their membership application is confirmed and payment has been received in full by Tuesday 30 September 2025, 11:59pm NZT.
3. Prize
   a. The prize consists of:
   • Enrolment into the Essential Asset Management Certificate, and
   • The application fee for Āpōpō Asset Management Associate (AMA) accreditation.
   b. Total prize value is estimated at over NZD $1,500.
   c. If the winner has already completed either the Essential Certificate or AMA accreditation, Āpōpō may, at its sole discretion and in consultation with the winner, offer an alternative prize of similar value.
   d. The AMA accreditation does not include the CTAM certification from WPiAM; this may be added separately at the winner’s own cost.
   e. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
4. Timeframe for Use
   a. The prize must be redeemed and used within the Āpōpō 2025 membership year (1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026), unless otherwise agreed by Āpōpō.
5. Draw and Notification
   a. The winner will be randomly drawn on or about Friday 3 October 2025.
   b. The winner will be contacted using the details provided on their membership application. If the winner cannot be contacted within 10 working days, Āpōpō reserves the right to redraw the prize.
6. General
   a. By entering the prize draw, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
   b. Āpōpō reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the prize draw at any time without notice.
   c. Āpōpō may publish the winner’s name and organisation (if applicable) in promotional material, unless the winner requests otherwise.
   d. Decisions made by Āpōpō in relation to the prize draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
