Asset Information Foundations

This practical training course covers the key aspects of managing asset management data and information. Using data and information for asset management has never been more important. Developing a strong capability in asset management data and information management allows asset intensive organisations to get the most from the assets and deliver on the levels of service expected from their communities.

This course is aligned with the asset management data and information subjects in the Asset Management Landscape (Third Edition) which was published by the Global Forum for Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) in June 2024. This document provides consistency and guidance for all aspects of asset management, including managing asset management data and information and is closely aligned with ISO 55013:2024. The GFMAM Asset Management Landscape has been widely adopted by organisations including by Āpōpō in New Zealand.
