23-27 September is the inaugural national Learning & Development (L&D) Week, themed “Manaakitanga in L&D: Fostering Learning Together”. We are excited to embrace the theme of manaakitanga (hospitality, respect, and care for others) by offering a range of valuable resources to support your professional growth and development.

Free Resources Available

Below are three template documents which are offered to you at no cost. The templates are in Word format, so you can adapt and adjust them for your specific needs. They have blank fields for you to complete plus a completed example page so you can see how they can be used.

1. Checklist for Supporting Staff

This checklist includes 12 essential items that leaders should consider in relation to the professional development of their staff. It serves as a practical guide to ensure that leaders are fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within their teams.

2. Individual Development Plan Template

This template is designed to help formalise the professional development of individuals. It provides a structured approach to setting and achieving development goals, ensuring that personal growth aligns with organisational objectives.

3. Team Development Plan Template

Similar to the Individual Development Plan, this template focuses on the wider team perspective. It helps teams collectively identify development needs and create actionable plans to enhance their skills and performance.
