Overview
AM 203 is designed to enable you to understand the basics of the Lifecycle Planning part of the Asset Management process.
It will introduce you to the tools and principles that form the foundation for deeper learning and practice in infrastructure asset management.
Building on the foundational concepts from AM 101, AM 201 and AM 202, this course focuses on how to make informed decisions throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure assets.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Evaluate and apply decision-making techniques to balance cost, risk, and performance across the asset lifecycle
- Explain and assess how operational planning and maintenance strategies contribute to asset performance and organisational objectives
- Develop approaches to managing resources and risks to support effective delivery of Asset Management activities
- Interpret and use Asset Management Plans to guide asset management decisions and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
