Yesterday Āpōpō President Gary Porteous joined LGNZ to support their call for more government investment in infrastructure.

Gary took part in LGNZ’s media conference held at the Pines waste-water treatment plant near Rolleston with LGNZ President Sam Broughton.

Āpōpō’s involvement in this media conference came a few days after our quarterly Member Sentiment Survey results were released, which highlight that Āpōpō members believe New Zealand’s infrastructure has not improved in the past year, and that the country doesn’t have sufficient capability to manage infrastructure assets.

Gary’s interview was played on 1 News last night and the radio interview with Sam Broughton can be heard here.
