IPWEA NZ Asset Management Excellence Awards 2023 - Now open for entries!
The IPWEA NZ Asset Management Excellence Awards present an opportunity to celebrate and showcase excellence across asset and infrastructure management projects in Aotearoa New Zealand.
A successful infrastructure project brings together teams from local government, central government, consultants, contractors and suppliers, truly showcasing collaborative teamwork. The awards celebrate and recognise projects that enable sustainable communities through asset management excellence.
All awards entries must select one specialist category to enter into. Each project submitted will also be automatically entered into its relevant project value category.
All category winners will be considered for the IPWEA NZ Supreme Asset Management Excellence Award, Kōmata o Te Rangi.

Guidelines and Awards Submissions Template
To assist with your submission, we've compiled an awards submission guidelines document which talks you through the awards process as well as entry requirements. We've also created a template word document for you to use to draft your responses before submitting the online form.

The IPWEA NZ Excellence Awards - Gala Dinner
We hope you'll join us for the gala dinner to celebrate the outstanding public works and asset management projects taking place across the motu. The 2022 awards were a huge success, celebrating the best of asset management projects and people, and we can't wait to come together again in person to celebrate again in 2023.
The dinner will take place as part of the Te Whakaohooho i ngā Rangatira o Āpōpō | Inspiring Our Next Generation Conference, on 22 June 2023.

Annually, we offer four scholarships. You can apply now for the following:
- Young Leader 2023: $8,000 for formal leadership coaching.
- Priyani de Silva-Currie Emerging Asset Management Professional: $5,000 for AM courses that will significantly advance your career.
- Emerging Governance: $10,000 to complete the Institute of Directors Company Directors’ Course.
- Senior Professional: $5,000 towards attending an international asset management conference.
