Background on the presenters

Dr Deborah Lind – Aurecon Water Industry Director

As an advocate for water-related issues, Deborah draws attention to the significance of adapting solutions to meet challenges in asset management and three waters infrastructure planning. She was with Watercare through the 2010 water services amalgamation of the 7 Councils, and worked with the DIA’s NTU leading the national operational stocktake to transition services into new water services entities. Her team is currently working alongside partners KPMG to support Councils in their water service delivery planning and implementation.

Louise Dudley – Aurecon Strategic Advisor for Water

With a career spanning 40 years in the water and professional services sectors, Louise joined Aurecon from Urban Utilities, a major Australian water utility services company with over 1.4 million people in South East Queensland. Louise held the role of Chief Executive Officer since 2012 and successfully led an innovative transformation, drove sustainability outcomes and championed a positive culture at the organisation.

Louise’s exemplary leadership and strong network within the infrastructure and water industries will extend the team’s strategic advisory capabilities and provide immense value to Aurecon’s clients and the wider community.

Charlotte Reed – Water Implementation Director, Commerce Commission | Te Komihana Tauhokohoko

Charlotte Reed is the Water Implementation Director at the Commerce Commission.  She has enjoyed a variety of roles across the water sector, ranging from detailed design to strategic planning.  Her current role, to set up the Commission’s function to regulate New Zealand’s water service providers, draws on the experience she has gained from working with the water sector and its regulators in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
